We are Sharon Turner and Eli Berry,
a mother and son operation on 75+ acres in Washington, Maine.

Our property comprises

  • managed woodlot

  • rotational grazing pasture for Dexter cattle

  • a tree, shrub & perennial nursery

  • large vegetable & flower gardens

  • four hoop houses

  • and a small orchard area.

The Nursery

We have two acres (+/-) under cultivation.

The plants are

  • mostly natives…and some favorites

  • chosen especially for birds, bees, butterflies & other beneficial insects

We use

  • certified organic, heirloom & open-pollinated seed,
    whenever possible

  • certified organic planting mix, MOFGA approved
    compost & our own aged Dexter cattle manure

  • NO PESTICIDES, HERBICIDES, CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS…EVER!
